localised international cyberspace
english is my pet language…just because if my parents spoke their respective chinese dialects (hakka & hokkien), we’d never have grown up right – they would’ve never understood each other! (or married each other, actually!)
the result of english being their common language (and multiply that by many families here), is me failing at speaking cantonese mandarin hakka AND hokkien distinctly. watudo!
now moving on…i just clicked friendster and its *gasp* in MALAY!!! i really don’t like it when malay invades my international cyberspace lah. at least provide an option so i get to choose the language. all i want to do it click submit & they say “simpanan”. search is carian google. how do you feel lucky? saya rasa bertuah. ayoh. don’t i already have enough trouble reading passport forms in malay..
on other things, who watched orang besi! ;)

lol! Same scenario here, except my parents are hokkien + cantonese. Both of which i can’t speak too. xD Luckily school and friends helped with the mandarin part!
By the way, orang besi really membatukan! Erm, I meant, rocked! =D
