My Favourite TWD Blogs

Here are some of my favourite (TWD) bakers I’ve come across recently. They very consistently churn out great posts!

Please note that I haven’t gone through all the list, so there still are blogs to be discovered. However, these are currently my favourite based on writing, creativity, design and of course, photography!

You guys are the bomb! Thanks for the inspiration :D

{In no particular order)

CB of I♥food4thought
What I like about it: I love her writing! Hers was the one of the first few TWD blogs I came across. She has interesting posts & topics in general..not limited to “what I’ve made today”. When I’ve got time, I read through her whole TWD post because it’s hilarious. She also has a cool menu board and good taste ;-) Next best thing? Her step by step pictures! Everything you need to know about it’s texture, size; great for the visual learner. She also rates food, and I like that.

Strengths: writing, interesting posts, step by step photos.

Grace of Piggy’s Cooking Journal
Why I like it: Her photography is aaaaamazing! I just scroll through and feel happy. Her photography style uses cute backdrops & very nice food styling when she arranges her mats, forks, etc. She’s also got very nice props! Her bakes come out superrr! Very creative.

Strengths: magazine-like-photography, food styling, very professional looking bakes

Kim of Scrumptious Photography
Why I like it: She commented on some irrelevant picture of mine on flickr and from then on I was hooked! She takes great step by step photos and very beautiful pictures, of food and other things. A good photographer who bakes!

Strengths: very beautiful photography! step-by-step photos and awesome bakes

Vibi of La Casserole Carree
Why I like it: French, but translatable! I love her rustic food photos (it’s not rustic, it just feels rustic!), her detail on the recipe’s background and overall stunning bakes! I love her twofer pie post very much. Doesn’t it look amazing!?

Strengths: writing on food background, information, amazing bakes

Gary of Sweet Boy Bakes
Why I like it: Great writing. Very to the point posts that are interesting and refreshing to read. Unlike mine, you see. I can learn, really. Awesome bakes. +++ HE’S A MAN!

Strengths: writing, interesting & refreshing, great bakes, concise posts (only one picture per post! and SO good too. does the job excellently)

Update: I may have to quit TWD after this month and just bake leisurely as work is slowly eating up a bigger percentage in my life. I can’t multitask! However, still this list is a work in progress! It’ll be updated when I get back. And please don’t be bored, scroll down and enjoy yourselves. You must! :)

    Please don’t quit the TWD!
I’ll miss you greatly if you leave… but again, I undestand life’s constraints… sigh.

  4. Eunice Says:

Kim, yeah me too!! I may bake leisurely WITH twd, maybe 2 a month but I can’t commit to everything anymore :( So i’ll be anticipating the monthly schedules very highly!!!

Piggy, You’re welcome! I’m in love with your pictures. I hope I can stay on, and I’ll try until January!

Vibi, You totally deserve it! Sighhhh. Life and it’s constraints. And waists too. Haha. I want to try to stay! And find people I can give my bakes to, so I don’t get any bigger AND i can find the time (excuses!) to make it. I’ll continue visiting your blog any how!
