We have cupcakes, cupcake pull-apart cakes, cupcake pops, but how about ice cream cone cakes?

Yes, what does a cupcaker do for her sister’s birthday? Not cupcakes, that’s for sure! Sister is not a big fan of cakes any how – in fact, does not like cakes. That’s really good, for great health and great waistlines in the future. Anyway, so Ice Cream Cones it was! I suddenly envisioned cones that could be grabbed without cutting a cake and walla!

I wished I wrapped ribbons around each one (ohmywordthework!!!), but laziness got the better of me so these would have to do!

It was very well received, right Honourable Guests? ;-) Everyone had two, and we had no leftovers, yay! I’d say, best cake to make, easy and smeasy!

How?

1. A round styrofoam base
2. Ice cream cones, mini/big
3. Space in the fridge
4. Ice cream, different flavours
5. Ice cream scoop
6. Sprinkles
7. Candles
8. A chopstick/satay stick
9. A happy birthday stick

Notes
Prepare your freezer to fit the “ICC Cake” in. Poke many holes to form a circle, around 2 inches from each other in the styrofoam and place your cones in. Working quickly, scoop the ice cream one by one, tight, and quickly sprinkle over with any coloured sprinkles of choice. Don’t freeze it then sprinkle, it’ll just roll off like water off a duck’s back!

If your ice cream is melting, sprinkle on the current scoops then let it rest in the freezer before putting in the ice cream on the remaining cones.

Freeze & serve!

Right and, Happy birthday Tracey & Valerie!
