Involuntary “You-Too”
May 10th, 2009
You know, I’m really looking forward to college sem starting again because I’ve officially become The Most Polite Person ever. I tried to evade it, but the tiara just wouldn’t come off my head! Even grumpy sessions at home END when I wake up at my designated 6.59am and I’m up and ready to fly! Day, are you ready to meet Cheerfulness embodified?!
My inner Human says “Have you no need for sleep lady??” But no. I am a woman about a mission. I have a day to conquer. But I digress. I have.. become a very polite charming customer focused person who is guilty of You Too-ing. Honest. It’s hilarious really. I’m on diplomat-mode almost automatically of late. How did I realise? It’s got so bad I’m so polite in front of my own friends I have to catch myself. When my breath escapes my lips with a “U2″ my brain catches up and it’s embarrassment from then on.
I know, I have single-handedly brought the dreaded disease upon myself.
I counted, 1, 2….3..*blush* just a few more times that I’ve done it.
No, no not Youtubing, but Youtoo-ing!
Involuntary “You Too”
When out of habit you reply to a comment with “You too”. This happens to the best of us.
Two common situations of the Involuntary “You Too”
Girl: Well happy birthday man. Have fun at Sea World tomorrow.
Guy: Thanks, you too.
**uncomfortable silence**
Parent: Drive safe and have fun.
Son: Ok you too.
**uncomfortable silence**
Hahahahaha! I read that and an uncomfortable 10 seconds myself. Then I proceeded to think about happier things like Confessions of a Shopaholic…Hugh Dancy….
Hey you know what? I realise my cheer battery correlates to my sleep. It has a shorter life span when my sleep has too. I better be off to recharge!
People like me better when I’ve got enough sleep. Really. Do you see why it is so crucial for me? DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
It’s 11.33…I’ve got around 7 hours till 6.59am.
You guys have a great night! You too!
