A Place of Influence is the Obama’s location.

I’m thrilled to see that Obama is talking about the importance of education and doing whatever it requires to reach success. Our God loves excellence, not half-heartance, focus not distraction, determination, not failures. I believe the Word has everything in there to teach us to live diligently! At my youth meeting, I didn’t expect a strong “Do not be lazy but work hard, serving the Lord with all your heart.” Romans 12:11 to wake me up!

If our focus is running the race, we will run in such a way as to receive the prize.

Speaking of which, some stuff that’s been motivating me recently has been this 5km Run For The Nation in running and pleasing my father in my studies. If his approval helps me go on so easily, I need to get that from my Heavenly Father too!

Here we have Michelle Obama talking about eating healthy. Preparing good meals for families while you’re busy. God has definitely provided us the best food! I never saw a cake that provided as much nutrients as an apple ;-) Or dragonfruit…which happens to be my favourite.

It is such a gift to have good leaders. Pray for them, Mr Najib and the Obamas whether or not they make choices that aren’t right they are still in that powerful Place of Influence.

And anyone want to run with me for the 5km thing? :D I’ve been running half an hour. Since yesterday. It’s more like a jog eventually but MAYN it gives new insight to the verse “Go the extra mile”. “Are you kidding me!?” “No.”
