“Samurai X” Cupcakes
Cheers to my favourite (and only watched) anime of all time: Samurai X, otherwise known as Rurouni Kenshin. It was a beautiful weave of humour, comic, suspense and development of characters. I was deloighted to be asked by the wonderful Nishaa to do Samurai X themed cupcakes for her boyfriend all the way over in JB!

Thanks for the opportunity and all the best, guys!
The Noodle Kiss: A Wedding Set!
A lovely bride-to-be named Miyako (also known as Hui Sing) contacted us for cupcakes for her wedding via Facebook all the way from Johor!
The theme was “Chinese” so the grand rich hues of red and gold were used…but c’mon, what’s complete without some cuteness! Not this one ;) To finally complete kawaiiness in a box, the bride & groom have got the whole Noodle Kiss going on! :) (The Nudle Kiss is traditionally a way to force the couple into a bashful kiss by getting them to romantically slurp up a single strand of noodle).

The Set!

The Noodle Kiss! :D

Double Happiness, I found out ;-)
The cupcakes they gave out to guests were packed as such:

Thank you once again Hui Sing & Willie for letting us be a part of your special day! Thank you so much Hui Sing for all your effort and understanding! May your marriage grow sweeter everyday. God bless you guys!
A Twilight Cupcake

“And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.”
Got that right!
I’m not exactly a huge fan of the series, but this is one for you Twilight lovers! Speaking of the book, I’ve read the first book since I am a girl, and I do need to know the end of the story, I read the gist of everything..it was a slight effort because Edward is so maddening but I stuck to it like a true girl. Ahem.
For the huge fan base out there, feel free to order Twilight themed cupcakes with all the book covers (that would be so cool no!) or Jacob’s abs. No, just kidding. But… not really. :P The current 8-pack-ab-obsession is madness though.
In conclusion, the Twilight series is pretty intriguingly bizarre. Sigh, life should be simple. Let’s all have a cupcake! ;)
Wedding Feature! Tze Hwei & Wei Pin
A couple months back, a lady emailed me about her best friend’s wedding. All went great, and eventually, I finally realised that she was located a million miles away in Ireland! She put so much effort and detail into a wedding to make it a perfect occasion for Tze Hwei, her best friend. So cheers all round for San Hung! She’s amazing!
The bride and groom share a common love for the movies, we decided on the wedding topper to include that. The final outcome was the couple on a Gold Class couch with a box of GSC (but of course!) popcorn and I really loved it!

Hurray and congratulations to Wei Pin & Tze Hwei! May your happiness never end, and thank you for having us a part of it!
